It is early Tuesday morning now.  At the Red Sea again.  Getting here was quite the ordeal this time.

The plan was for me to spend most of my last week at the sea.  To that end we planned to leave Luxor Friday or Saturday, but one thing  or other prevented that.  On Saturday evening Mohamed told me he had taken the car to the laundry and that we could leave in  the morning.  Once I realized that he meant he had taken the car to be washed I said that was great and packed.

An hour or so later he returned saying the car was dead and wouldn't start.  Oh my sea swims were not to be.

He insisted we were still going and that he had made arrangements for his baby (car) to be taken to Hurghada where he would have the Chev service people fix her.

The arrangements were:  baby would make the trip on a flat bed, we would go in a taxi.

Baby left Luxor before we did.    Mohamed and Mahmoud, the driver, picked me up and off we went.  About two hours later we caught up with baby....
As we passed they had a quick conversation out the windows and would meet up in Hurghada.
