All the boys are hard at work today.  The rooms were finished early because they need to help prepare for the birthday party tonight.

The hotel does birthday parties for both Egyptians and foreigners who stay long term in Egypt .  This evening there is a buffet party for an English lady who stays in the village.  She is having about fifty guests.  The custom among the English here is that the birthday person invites guests, chooses the buffet menu and pays for it.  The bar is a cash bar.  All will take place outdoors by the pool and gazebo areas.
