Today's surprise lunch was a steaming pot of veggies, rice, and a salad.  I have always complained about the fries here.  They are dreadful.  Today I asked Mohamed if he would let me teach the guys how they should be ....crispy and not limp soaked in oil.  So, today along with the lunch Noby brought me a plate of fries and asked, "Better?".  Bless him, he is trying and tomorrow maybe a little better again and again until we get it right.  Did I tell you that they always like to dress up the food, tart it up a bit.  It is always tasteful and artfully done.  Today Noby dressed up the fries with grated carrot.  Lesson number two fries don't need dressing up.  Sorry no photos.

Amin brought me a new bouquet for the table on my terrace.
